We’re incredibly proud to officially welcome Travis Ganong to the AlpenFlow Design athlete team.
Travis is one of the most accomplished downhill skiers in American history. A Lake Tahoe local, he spent more than a decade competing at the highest level of alpine ski racing, representing the U.S. on the World Cup circuit and at the Olympic Games. Known for his confidence at speed, precision on demanding terrain, and relentless pursuit of performance, Travis built his career where equipment trust is non-negotiable.
As Travis transitions from full-time World Cup racing, his focus has shifted toward backcountry and freeride skiing—applying the same Olympic-level standards to the mountains beyond the racecourse. That mindset aligns perfectly with what we’re building at AlpenFlow.
This winter, Travis will be working closely with our team to help dial in the AlpenFlow 89. He’ll be pushing the bindings through aggressive skiing, big lines, variable conditions, and real-world abuse, helping ensure they deliver the durability, retention, and confidence demanded at the very highest level of the sport. His experience skiing at the edge of performance plays a critical role in validating that our bindings can be trusted when it matters most.
Having an athlete of Travis’s caliber involved in development is more than an endorsement—it’s a benchmark. We couldn’t be more excited to have him in our corner as we continue refining what a true hybrid binding can be.
